The Commission presented a proposal to suspend certain trade-related provisions of the EU-Israel Association Agreement, and to sanction extremist ministers and violent settlers. It also proposed to further sanction Hamas.

The new strategic agenda between the EU and India aims to deepen, broaden, and better coordinate bilateral cooperation, enhance prosperity and security for both partners and help tackle major global challenges.

Today, the Commission has adopted a second package of seven sectoral proposals completing the framework for the next long-term EU budget for 2028–2034. The first package of the next long-term EU budget was presented on 16 July 2025.

These partnerships will create billions of euro's worth of opportunities for companies, contribute to growth and competitiveness, support hundreds of thousands of European jobs, and promote EU interests and values. It is now for the European Parliament and the Council of the EU to approve them.
